ANTI-FLOATER

This system is a closed circulation system. The water used is neutral soft water, with which, no floater and slit will be brought in.

ANTI-DEPOSITION

An opening circulation pool is installed in the circulation system in order to stabilize pressure and prevent deterioration of circulation water. Therefore, with certain water quantity (the water is not softened), the deposition will keep at a constant value. However, in actual use, the water is softened and no deposition will be accumulated.

ANTI-AQUATIC

If the water condition of hydropower station is suitable for growing aquatic, medicine will be used in the circulation water. Aquatic can hardly grow, which guarantees the reliability of technical water supply. The aquatic grow outside the system can be dealt by lifting out the system during annually repairing period.

Pingchang HPP in Sichuan Province

ANTI-CONDENSATION

Sichuan Nanya River Hydropower Station is the typical example. The plant’s generator is destroyed due to short-circuit. Condensation always occurs in places with high humidity and sharp difference in temperature. Adopting circulation cooling water system, the temperature of cooling water will be improved to 25 to 30 degree centigrade. With narrowed temperature difference, the condensation can be avoided.

ANTI-ICE

The circulation water will not be affected by freeze and ice.

ENERGY-SAVING

After the using of this system, the cooling water taken from over flow pipeline before is saved for generating. With higher water head, more power will be generate and the extra power can be used for circulation water pump and increase power generation. The higher the water head is, the more energy will be saved. The power station with a water head higher than pumping head will save energy because water pumping head is about 38 to 44m.

ENVIRONMENT PROTECTION AND SAFENESS

If the pipeline of oil cooler is worn through by slit, rivers will be polluted and sometimes will cause the burning of tile. All these accident will be avoided with water cooling system. Economic losses will be reduced as well due to the avoidance of reparation and halting.
