Technical Principle
The invention discloses a circulating water cooling system of hydropower generation set, which solves the problem of abnormal halt of the set, caused by blockage of a conventional water filter by river floating matters, sand and stone in a hydropower station. The circulating water cooling system comprises a circulating water pool, circulating water pump, a cooler, pipe network, valve and HW-ZK.
Water-cycling mode: circulating water pool → circulating water pump → cooler → hydropower unit (main transformer cooler) → circulating water pool.
During the operation of power generating equipment, cooling water brings away the heat of the unit and discharge into circulating water pool. The circulating water is sent to the cooler installed in the tail water through the circulating water pump. Heat exchange of circulating water takes place with the river water outside the circulating cooler. The temperature of the circulating water will be lowered to meet the demand of the cooling water temperature of the units, and then it will be sent to the units. The cooling water will be sent back to the circulating water through the units in operation. The circulating water cooling system is suitable for cooling the hydropower generation set with poor water quality.
